Our grant applicants are required to submit a detailed proposal which is evaluated by the board. Board approval is dependent upon clear goals and objectives, realistic expectations, experience, desire and work ethic, promotion of personal responsibility, budget, creativity and the relevance of the issue. They must also demonstrate a strong potential for creating a positive societal change. The board will only consider projects which are consistent with the mission of the Howe Charities, Inc.
